Murchison Falls
About Murchison Falls
Murchison Falls is one of the most rewarding places to visit in Uganda if you want something dramatic, memorable, and easy to build a full safari experience around. The falls are the main draw, with the Nile forcing through a narrow gap before dropping with incredible force, but the wider setting adds even more to the experience. Between the scenery, the wildlife, and the river itself, it is the kind of place that gives you more than one reason to go.
When to visit
This is when Murchison Falls usually feels brightest, driest, and easiest to combine with top-of-falls viewpoints, boat trips, and classic safari days.
