Jack Rabbit Vineyard

About Jack Rabbit Vineyard

Jack Rabbit Vineyard hits that rare mix of stunning views and good wine without trying too hard. Set on the Bellarine Peninsula, it looks straight out over Port Phillip Bay with a laid-back feel that still manages to feel polished. You can linger over a long lunch, sample cool-climate wines like Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc, or just soak in the scenery with a glass in hand. It's the kind of place that sticks with you.

When to visit

Late summer into early autumn is the best time to visit. The weather’s still warm, the vines are vibrant, and it’s less crowded without feeling empty.

Most popular: February - March

Spring · Sep, Oct, Nov

Spring brings mild weather and fresh green across the vineyard. Buds begin to form on the vines, and the open-air deck is ideal for an easy, breezy tasting session.

Summer · Dec, Jan, Feb

Summer picks up pace, with long daylight hours and warm evenings. It’s great for outdoor dining, golden hour photos, and watching the sun drop into the bay with a drink in hand.

Autumn · Mar, Apr, May

Autumn slows things down. The leaves shift to gold, the air turns crisp, and the cellar door gets a little quieter—perfect if you're after a more relaxed, reflective vibe.

Winter · Jun, Jul, Aug

Winter is calm and cozy. The vines are bare, but the fireplace keeps things warm inside. It’s quiet, but the bay views through the fog are still worth the trip.
