Ishasha is one of the most rewarding parts of Queen Elizabeth National Park if you want a safari setting that feels quieter and a little more distinctive. Best known for its tree-climbing lions, this southern sector also gives you wide savannah landscapes, good wildlife viewing, and an easy link between classic safari time and gorilla trekking in Bwindi. It’s a strong choice if you want something that feels scenic, memorable, and slightly less busy than the park’s more visited areas.
