About Madang
Madang is a province along the northern coast of Papua New Guinea, home to many of the country's highest peaks, active volcanoes, tropical islands and also its most diverse mix of native languages. Two of Madang's most popular swimming spots are the calm blue waters of Kranket and Siar islands and there's a perfect land hand surf break at Tupira, but the province is also fantastic for diving, with superb visibility of the offshore volcanic islands, coral gardens and 34 sunken ship dive sites.
