Autumn gives you bearable temperatures during the day and cool nights that are perfect for sitting outside. The roads are dry and travel feels easier.

Curtin Springs is located about 85 kilometers east of Uluru on the Lasseter Highway. If you’re flying into Ayers Rock Airport, it’s roughly a one-hour drive. From Alice Springs, it takes about five hours by car. The roadhouse is easy to spot along the highway and includes fuel, food, and accommodation.
