Arusha National Park
About Arusha National Park
Arusha National Park stands out for how much variety it packs into a relatively compact area. Between Mount Meru, the Momella Lakes, Ngurdoto Crater, and the mix of forest, open grassland, and wildlife, it feels fuller than many first-time visitors expect. It also works especially well if you want a safari stop that is easy to reach but still feels scenic and rewarding.
When to visit
June to October is the best overall period for dry weather, easier wildlife viewing, and clearer park conditions for game drives and walks.
