Máncora is a popular resort town on Peru's northwest coast. known for beautiful sandy beaches whose large waves attract surfers. Restaurants and cafes line the main street, Avenida Piura, and the town's bars fuel a lively nightlife scene. La Poza de Barro hot springs and mud baths lie southeast of town, whilst migrating whales visit the waters offshore.
