Getting There

The Murray stretches across Victoria and New South Wales, with towns like Echuca, Albury, Swan Hill, and Mildura all accessible by car. From Melbourne, it’s about three hours to Echuca via the Calder or Hume highways. You can also fly into Albury or Mildura and drive from there. Most towns are best explored by car, especially if you plan to follow the river from one stop to the next.
