Cooinda Lodge is located in the heart of Kakadu National Park, at the gateway to the Yellow Water Billabong. The lodge provides air-conditioned rooms with private courtyards as well as camping grounds and dorm options for those travelling on a budget. There is also a private airstrip at Cooinda which allows guests to take a chartered flight to witness the most spectacular views of Kakadu from the air.

Cooinda Lodge Kakadu has four dining and drinking options, from relaxed indoor meals and alfresco dinners to smoked Top End favourites and easy takeaway by the pool. Native ingredients and regional flavours run through the menus, with Mimi’s open year-round and several outdoor venues joining the mix during the cooler dry-season months. Mimi’s Restaurant - Australian Outback-inspired dishes using native ingredients and local produce, served for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Barra Bistro & Bar - Seasonal alfresco dining under the fairy lights, with casual meals and drinks. The Smoking Croc BBQ House - A dry-season barbecue spot serving smoked brisket, pork and barramundi. Too Deadly Takeaway - Seasonal fish and chips and family-friendly takeaway for relaxed meals on the Barra lawns.
