It’s slower than the Gold Coast but still full of things to do, and it doesn’t feel built up or overdone.

Getting There
Fly into Gold Coast Airport, which is just 15 minutes from the northern edge of The Tweed. From there, it’s an easy drive south along the Pacific Motorway. Towns like Kingscliff, Murwillumbah, and Pottsville are all within reach by car. Public transport is limited, so hiring a car is the best way to explore the coast and hinterland.
