A little bit of Germany made its way to the mountains of West Virginia in 1977 when owners Erwin and Carol Asam purchased land in Shepherdstown to open a restaurant/inn. The Bavarian Inn Resort and Brewing Company overlooks the Potomac River and offers luxury accommodations and authentic German cuisine.
