The capital city of Frankfort is home to Buffalo Trace Distillery, the oldest continuously operating distillery in America and a National Historic Landmark. The distillery is fully operational and dedicated to preserving its rich history, offering a variety of complimentary tours and tastings. The facility recently completed a massive expansion of its Visitors Center – tripling the size of the previous space. The expanded visitor space allows for new products in the Gift Shop and more tastings in the new expansive tasting rooms upstairs.
