LA Rams at SoFi Stadium

About LA Rams at SoFi Stadium

A Rams home game at SoFi Stadium is one of the better ways to spend a sports day in Los Angeles, even if football is not usually your thing. The stadium is huge, the crowd gets loud once the game starts, and Hollywood Park is busy well before kickoff with food, drinks and tailgating. There is enough happening around the venue to make it feel like more than just the game itself, especially for an afternoon or evening out.

When to visit

September through December is the main period for Rams home games at SoFi Stadium, with the regular NFL season bringing the biggest crowds and strongest game-day atmosphere.

Most popular: September - December

Spring · Mar, Apr, May

Spring falls outside the Rams regular season, so there are normally no NFL home games to attend at SoFi Stadium. The venue still hosts concerts, sporting events and other large productions throughout the year, and the weather around Inglewood is generally mild. If seeing the Rams is the main reason for visiting, this is not the season to choose. It does, however, work well if you simply want to see SoFi Stadium or attend another event there.

Summer · Jun, Jul, Aug

Summer is when football starts building toward the new season. Rams preseason games usually begin in August, and some are held at SoFi Stadium, giving fans a more relaxed way to see the team before regular-season crowds arrive. Weather is warm and very dry, so getting around before kickoff is straightforward. Tailgating still takes place, but preseason games generally feel less intense than the major divisional and primetime matchups that follow in autumn

Autumn · Sep, Oct, Nov

Autumn is the main season for seeing the Rams at SoFi Stadium. Regular-season home games begin in September, with October and November usually bringing several matchups at the stadium. Expect heavy traffic around Inglewood, busy parking lots and large crowds arriving well before kickoff for tailgating. Los Angeles weather stays warm through much of the season, so outdoor pre-game plans are usually comfortable. Primetime games can run late, so evening temperatures may feel noticeably cooler.

Winter · Dec, Jan, Feb

Winter covers the final part of the NFL regular season, with Rams home games continuing through December and sometimes into early January. Late-season matches can carry more importance as playoff positions are decided, which can make the atmosphere noticeably louder. Temperatures remain mild compared with many NFL cities, although rain becomes more likely. If the Rams qualify for a home playoff game, the season may continue into January, but playoff fixtures depend entirely on the team's results.

Location

Getting There

From downtown Los Angeles, head southwest toward Inglewood and SoFi Stadium at 1001 South Stadium Drive. On NFL game days, using Metro to LAX/Metro Transit Center and taking the stadium shuttle is often easier than driving because onsite parking is limited.
