West Clear Creek
About West Clear Creek
Although not easy to access, West Clear Creek is worth it if you're looking for a truly "off-the-beaten-path" adventure. The difficult off-roading in a 4WD/high-clearance vehicle for a lengthy time to reach one of the few trailheads, along with the steep scrambles to reach the creek and the many required water crossings may sound like too much work, however, you are rewarded with one of the most spectacular spots in the canyon, from huge sandstone cliffs to tranquil waterfalls. This 25-mile long wilderness is the ideal destination for intrepid adventurers looking for some solitude under Arizona’s sun.
