Phoenix Suns at Footprint Center
About Phoenix Suns at Footprint Center
To say that Phoenix in particular and Arizona in general bleed orange and purple is an understatement, especially after the Phoenix Suns basketball team made it to the NBA Finals in 2021. The "hometown team" has been playing basketball since 1969 originally in the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum, affectionately known as the "Madhouse on McDowell", until moving to the Footprint Center in downtown Phoenix. Attending a Suns game can best be described as a basketball game with a party - even if you're not a huge basketball enthusiast, there's a lot going on to keep you entertained. The recently renovated Footprint Center is a multi-level open-concept sports and entertainment arena with a 16,000-square foot air-conditioned glass-enclosed atrium that features bars, restaurants and shops. Plus, regardless of where you sit (floor or nosebleed), the view and "show" are great.
