The "hometown team" has been playing basketball since 1969 originally in the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum, affectionately known as the "Madhouse on McDowell", until moving to the Footprint Center in downtown Phoenix. The recently renovated Footprint Center is a multi-level open-concept sports and entertainment arena with a 16,000-square foot air-conditioned glass-enclosed atrium that features bars, restaurants and shops.
