About Selawik National Wildlife Refuge
Located in remote northwest Alaska on the Arctic Circle, Selawik National Wildlife Refuge is a landscape steeped in natural beauty. The refuge is home to the largest herd of caribou in Alaska, numbering almost half a million, as well as moose, musk-ox, wolves, black bears and grizzlies.
