About Musandam Peninsula
The Musandam Peninsula is actually separated from the rest of Oman by the United Arab Emirates, although it remains one of Oman's most popular tourist destinations. The mountainous peninsula juts out into the Strait of Hormuz, where its jagged coastline features turquoise inlets, fjords and waters home to an abundance of dolphins and other marine life.
