Osteria Luna

About Osteria Luna

In the heart of Uluwatu, Osteria Luna brings the romance of coastal Italy to Bali with bright, airy design, artistic details and a relaxed sense of occasion. The menu plays with Italian classics through vibrant seafood, silky pasta, grilled scallops, branzino and generous Mediterranean flavours, turning lunch into the kind of meal that effortlessly stretches toward aperitivo. Salt, citrus and warm tropical light shape the mood, while the open setting keeps everything polished without losing Pecatu’s easygoing rhythm.

When to visit

Visit April through October for Bali’s drier weather, with July and August bringing particularly strong visitor demand and vibrant dining conditions around Uluwatu.

Most popular: July - August

Spring · Sep, Oct, Nov

September and October keep Uluwatu warm and relatively dry, making spring a beautiful time for long lunches, coastal drives and relaxed dinners at Osteria Luna. Rainfall stays comparatively low, especially early in the season, while tropical humidity gradually builds toward November. As the wet season approaches, showers become more frequent and evenings can feel heavier, but temperatures remain consistently warm. It is an appealing shoulder-season window for enjoying Pecatu before the wetter months fully arrive.

Summer · Dec, Jan, Feb

December through February falls firmly within Bali’s wet season, bringing warm temperatures, high humidity and frequent tropical showers around Uluwatu. January and February are among the wetter months, so beach plans and outdoor dining can require flexibility, although rain often arrives in concentrated bursts rather than lasting all day. Osteria Luna remains an inviting lunch or dinner option during unsettled weather, with Italian dishes and aperitivo offering an atmospheric escape between showers and humid evenings.

Autumn · Mar, Apr, May

March begins warm and wet, but conditions improve steadily through April and May as Uluwatu transitions into Bali’s dry season. Rainfall drops significantly, skies become more dependable and beaches grow increasingly inviting for long days outdoors. By May, the combination of warm temperatures and lower rainfall makes it especially easy to pair a coastal afternoon with dinner at Osteria Luna. Visitor numbers also begin building toward Bali’s busier mid-year travel period across the island steadily.

Winter · Jun, Jul, Aug

June through August delivers Uluwatu’s driest and coolest stretch, with lower rainfall, bright skies and comfortable tropical evenings. These months are ideal for combining beach time, surfing and sunset stops with a long lunch or dinner at Osteria Luna. Bali’s international visitor demand is also strongest around the mid-year peak, particularly in July and August, so Pecatu feels noticeably livelier. Reservations become more valuable as restaurants, roads and nearby coastal attractions draw larger seasonal crowds.
