About Zambezi River
The Zambezi runs along the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe in central Africa. As one of the largest rivers on the continent, the Zambezi is a well-known adventure holiday destination offering visitors the chance to try white-water rafting, kayaking and jet boating. From central Livingstone, head toward the Zambezi River around Victoria Falls, which is one of the easiest and most popular access points. If you are heading for a quieter river experience near Lower Zambezi National Park, the usual starting point is Lusaka, with onward travel by road or light aircraft toward the river lodges and park area.
