About Mountain Zebra National Park

The Mountain Zebra National Park was established in 1937 for the purpose of providing a nature reserve for the endangered Cape mountain zebra. Today, the nature reserve is home to herds of buffalo, antelope, wildebeest, hartebeest, kudu, springbok, baboons and Vervet monkeys, in addition to Mountain zebras.

Mountain Zebra National Park is approximately 2 1/2 hours drive north of Port Elizabeth in South Africa's Eastern Cape
