Maitland Beach sits at the mouth of the Maitland River, about halfway between Port Elizabeth and Jeffreys Bay in South Africa's Eastern Cape. The beach offers spectacular sunsets overlooking the Indian Ocean, with seemingly endless stretches of white sandy shores backed by large sand dunes that are popular for sand boarding and tobogganing.
