Sossusvlei

About Sossusvlei

Sossusvlei stands out for the landscape more than anything else. The red dunes, white clay pan, and the wider desert setting make it feel immediately distinct, especially once you see how stark the contrast is between the sand, sky, and Deadvlei’s dead camel thorn trees. It is one of those places where the setting really is the experience, and that is what makes it so memorable.
