Hotel Morabeza feels like one of the easier places to stay on Sal if you want to be close to both the beach and the heart of Santa Maria. It has a more relaxed and established feel than some of the larger resorts, which makes the stay feel more personal and less generic. If you want somewhere that lets you enjoy the coastline, walk into town, and settle into the pace of Sal without much effort, this fits well.
